In order to get an accurate price quote, I will review your books, assess your unique needs, and create a detailed plan just for you.

DIY: Training & Accountability

Perhaps you see the value in making sure your books are accurate, but you’re not sure if you can afford to fully outsource your bookkeeping at this time. No problem! This DIY plan is perfect for you. It will jumpstart you on the right track and when your business is ready, we can switch over to a done-for-you bookkeeping plan. This plan includes:

  • QBO set-up

  • A 1 hour training session to get you acclimated (will be recorded so that you can rewatch as needed)

  • Any questions answered by me all month long

  • Assistance with preparing your first month’s financial statements

  • Access to the client portal

  • I will conduct a quick scan your books at month-end

1st month $300, then $100 per month

How it works…

  1. Consultation

    We discuss your business’ needs and what bookkeeping services would be most beneficial and affordable for you.

  2. Quickbooks Review

    I review your current Quickbooks to determine the scope of work needed in order to build an accurate plan and price quote. Just like you wouldn’t expect your auto mechanic to give you a quote without looking under the hood, a bookkeeper also cannot correctly quote you for services without an assessment of your books.

  3. Proposal

    You will be presented with a completely customized package of recommended bookkeeping services along with a quoted price for services. If you agree to the terms of the proposal, an engagement letter will be sent for you to e-sign.

  4. Onboarding

    You will be provided a list of all necessary documents and other information needed to get us started on your books.

  5. Services begin

    I will take care of the bookkeeping services outlined in your custom plan while you can focus on running your business.

Diagnostic Review: the 1st step to getting your books clean

If historical clean-up services are needed, or if you DIY your books and want to get a professional overview of the status of your books, a full diagnostic review is what you need. My diagnostic review will identify problems such as improper setup, suboptimal chart of accounts, improperly categorized transactions, missing transactions, unreconciled (or incorrectly reconciled) accounts, incorrectly applied vendor and customer payments, and more.

Problems like these put your business at risk of not being able to properly comply with tax and other reporting requirements, which could lead to penalties and other consequences. Additionally, when your financials are unreliable, you miss out on important insights that can help you make wise decisions for your business.

What the Review entails:

  • In-depth Quickbooks Online analysis

  • Written report explaining any and all problem areas, recommended changes, and what needs to be done to get your books corrected

  • Review session explaining the diagnostic findings listed in the report

  • Customized pricing quote for my recommended services

As a stand-alone service, the Diagnostic Review has a fee of $100. However, if you sign on with me for bookkeeping services, you will receive $100 off your first invoice.
