About the Owner

Hello there! I’m Lillian, the owner of Lighthouse Ledgers. If you’re in need of a bookkeeper who knows their way around Quickbooks, you’re in the right place!

I have worked in the healthcare field as a Labor and Delivery nurse for a number of years, but have always had a fondness for numbers and calculations. Fun fact, I was a math major in college before I pursued nursing. After the pandemic, my husband and I decided it was time to grow our family. I began seeking ways to utilize my skills and passions while being home to raise my children, I decided to pair my desire to help others with my love of numbers and thus Lighthouse Ledgers was born.

The best part of being 100% virtual is that I can partner with business owners anywhere in the USA. I firmly believe small business owners are the backbone of our great country and I want to support you in any way I can and see you succeed!

When I'm not analyzing my family's budget, or logging transactions, I enjoy spending my time at home with my baby boy and baking all things sourdough.

Through all my activities, whether work or hobbies, my number one goal is to share the light of Jesus with those around me. This is my inspiration for naming my bookkeeping business "Lighthouse Ledgers". 

My specialty is providing expert bookkeeping services to small businesses. 

When you decided to start your business, you were likely driven by bigger dreams and goals that did not include maintaining financial books. Many small business owners do not have the time to spend on meticulous bookkeeping and running a business, nor the funds to hire an in-house bookkeeper.

My goal is to support business owners in achieving the success they desire. However you define “success” — spending more time with family, taking that dream vacation, or peace of mind with a better work-life balance…fill in the blank— I can come alongside you to help make that dream a reality. 

As your virtual bookkeeper, not only can I save you time, but your hard earned money as well. All the work is performed remotely via cloud-based software with high level security. It is a very cost efficient way of reinvesting into your business.

Certifications

A QuickBooks ProAdvisor is someone who has joined the QuickBooks ProAdvisor program and completed a certification test. They are familiar with and have an in depth understanding of the QuickBooks software.

The Intuit Certified Bookkeeping Professional certification helps to validate one’s bookkeeping and accounting knowledge and understanding. The certification is obtained by a proctored exam and covers core concepts  including accounting basics; accounting for assets and sales transactions; accounting for liabilities, equity, and purchase transactions; reconciliation and financial statements.

The Bookkeeper Launch certificate of completion signifies that the earner has learned and demonstrated in-depth understanding of the skills and resources necessary to excel as a 21st century bookkeeping professional.
