About the Owner

Hi, I’m Lillian!

I’m the owner of Lighthouse Ledgers and a bookkeeper who genuinely enjoys bringing order to the chaos of small business finances.

Before launching this business, I spent 6 years working as a Labor & Delivery nurse—and before that, I was a math major in college (yes, I’m the kind of person who enjoys solving equations for fun). After the pandemic, my husband and I felt it was time to grow our family, and I started exploring ways to work from home while still doing something meaningful. That’s when Lighthouse Ledgers came to life.

Now, I get to support small business owners all over the U.S. by helping them feel confident and in control of their numbers. I firmly believe small businesses are the backbone of this country, and I’m here to help yours thrive.

When I’m not reconciling accounts or categorizing transactions, you’ll usually find me baking something sourdough-related, snuggling my kids, or volunteering at church.

The heart behind Lighthouse Ledgers is simple: to reflect the light and love of Jesus in everything I do. It’s why I named my business Lighthouse Ledgers—to be a steady, trustworthy presence in your business journey.

My specialty is providing expert bookkeeping services to small businesses.

When you decided to start your business, you were likely driven by bigger dreams and goals that did not include maintaining financial books. Many small business owners do not have the time to spend on meticulous bookkeeping and running a business, nor the funds to hire an in-house bookkeeper.

This is where I step in!

My goal is to support business owners in achieving the success they desire. However you define “success” — spending more time with family, taking that dream vacation, or peace of mind with a better work-life balance…fill in the blank— I can come alongside you to help make that dream a reality.

As your virtual bookkeeper, not only can I save you time, but your hard earned money as well. All the work is performed remotely via cloud-based software with high level security. It is a very cost efficient way of reinvesting into your business.

My Values

  • Transparency

We value being open and honest, fair and straight-forward.

  • Collaboration

working together we can make a greater impact! It will make the bookkeeping process smooth and efficient.

  • Accuracy

You should always expect perfection in financial records keeping. This is the quality standard you can expect from Lighthouse Ledgers.

  • Timeliness

We know how important it is to have the info you need at the right moment. No one wants to be making important decisions with only half of the facts, especially in regards to financial decisions about their business.
